MWJ is an independent small press specializing in local area anthologies. MWJ published its first anthology Malfunction Junction: Memphis Stories of Stops, Starts, Wrong Turns, and Dead Ends in 2022. Their second anthology: Malfunction Junction: Close Encounters of the Third Street Kind is upcoming in 2023. MWJ is a collective of writers with ties to the Memphis and Mid-South area.
